Our clients wanted to create a statement feature bar for their games room as part of a new conversion at their property. The room benefited from generous natural light and contemporary features like a bespoke walnut staircase.

Pure and sleek, we wanted to allow the quality and beauty of the materials to shine through for this project. We incorporated a floating timber shelf into the Dekon stone-clad bar counter. Accent lighting reveals the depth of colour and natural detail in the stone.

Rough-cut oak veneer units in an asymmetric design lend a contemporary feel. They are toned to complement the colours within the stone cladding and other existing room features.

Alongside the bottle coolers, we also installed a compact oven/microwave to prepare light food away from the central kitchen. Adding a Fisher & Paykel Cool drawer, which can be switched from freezer to fridge or a larder store at the touch of a button, enables the storage of ice, upright open bottles or food, depending upon the occasion.
