How we work

At Treyone we pride ourselves on our customer service and the outstanding quality of our kitchens.

As a family business, our approach is to be honest and straightforward and to keep our customers fully informed at every stage of the project. Here is an outline of the journey we take with our customers to ensure a successful and rewarding project.

"We’re dedicated to producing the finest kitchens at the best possible price, combined with excellent design and unrivalled service.”

Discovering your vision

• The first step is a showroom visit to view our kitchens and cabinetry, explore the wide range of materials we use, get a feel for how we work, and meet our friendly team. At the same time, we can also arrange for you to visit our workshop to see how our kitchens are manufactured.

• We then discuss your initial ideas, budgets, time-frames and arrange a survey at your home or exchange plans.

• At this point your designer will thoroughly discuss how you like to work, socialise, and entertain in your kitchen whilst sharing ideas for colour schemes, materials, appliances, and accessories.

• When necessary we will liaise with your architect, builder, and interior designer to ensure everyone involved is fully briefed.

Evolving the design and scheduling

• After this consultation we put together a design for your kitchen, detailing every aspect. We then discuss this initial design with you, listen to your feedback, make any requested changes and then provide a comprehensive and detailed quotation free of charge.

• You will then have time to consider our design and quotation. Once agreed, we will request a 25% deposit so we can schedule the manufacturing of your kitchen in our workshop and suggest an installation date.

• From here our installation manager will liaise with you, your builder or we will arrange the required trades for you. We have long-standing relationships with electricians, flooring contractors, plasterers, plumbers, and decorators, all of whom are familiar with the standards we expect at Treyone.

Planning and manufacturing begins

• Eight weeks before we manufacture, we double-check that you will be ready for the intended installation date.

• Five weeks before the installation, your designer will liaise with our workshop team and installers to ensure everything is ready.

• As a guide, we take three weeks to plan and process a project, and depending on its size and complexity, two more weeks to complete the manufacturing. You are welcome to visit the workshop during this stage if you wish to see your kitchen being made.

• An interim invoice of 70% of the project value will be issued one week before delivery.

Installing your kitchen and handover

• Once any building work is completed and the room has been prepared, your kitchen is delivered and fitted on the agreed date. The installation is carried out by a trusted specialist kitchen installer this usually takes between three and four weeks. They work closely with you, the installation manager, workshop and designer and are always fully briefed on the nuances of a project to keep disruption to a minimum.

• Once completed our designer will arrange to visit your completed project to ensure you are completely satisfied. Your final balance will then be invoiced. We will also send you a Treyone Care Pack that contains tips on how to care for your kitchen with a record of all model and serial numbers for you to register warranty information with each supplier as appropriate.

• Finally, we like to keep a record of our projects so we can share them with other potential customers or for use in our marketing and we may ask if we can professionally photograph your kitchen. Your kitchen project will be stored for its entire life in our now 48 year old archive! Yes, it’s getting full!!
