Our workshop

We’ve been crafting kitchens, bedrooms, offices, and free-standing furniture in our Cornwall workshops since 1978, combining decades of experience with a passion for design and quality.

Over the past 45+ years, manufacturing technology has evolved significantly, but our commitment to meticulous craftsmanship and high-quality cabinetry has remained constant.

Our workshops bring together the best of both worlds: traditional skills honed over decades, alongside the latest innovations in precision machinery. This combination allows us to create handmade kitchens that are not only beautiful and durable but also tailored to the unique needs of each customer.

It’s our manufacturing expertise that enables our designers and customers to expand the possibilities in kitchen design.

Each handmade kitchen is carefully planned and made as a single job, never from ready-made components. All our work is produced in-house. We use traditional joinery methods, from constructing five-piece solid wood doors to comb-jointing wooden drawers. We utilise the latest machinery when styles of kitchen call for precision machining on inert board materials for clean lines and a contemporary look.

Any colour, multiple textures

We also have our own onsite spray and painting workshop where we match any colour possible. Sometimes, a customer will bring us a swatch they love, and we’ll carefully match it. We work with all the leading paint manufacturers like Farrow & Ball, Little Greene and Crown. Our paint finishes are highly durable and will maintain their colour for many years.

Our craftsmen

We’re particularly proud of our craftsmen. They have years of experience, and each brings their own unique skill to our kitchens. Whether machining or hand finishing, their attention to detail matters when producing a high-quality bespoke kitchen. They work as a team, and each will be part of the kitchen’s progress through our workshops.

Our craftsmen work under the watchful eye of Josh Bartley. Josh works with our project managers and designers to ensure every part of a project completes at the right time and precisely to our customer’s requirements.
