The clients wished to push the boundaries of their creativity by building a contemporary ‘forever home’ that would provide for their ever-growing family. Zonal spaces could also accommodate the occasional large gathering, with sunken living spaces that boasted breathtaking views beyond the River Exe in Devon.

During the early stages of the build, they discovered a cross-sawn piece of tinted oak and a ‘Blue Moleanos’ limestone tile that they had fallen in love with. They wanted Treyone to introduce this oak finish, whilst creating a scheme that embraced and contrasted with other statement pieces that were being introduced. They were keen to explore versatile appliances that could introduce them to new cooking techniques and wished to have worksurfaces that required the lowest level of maintenance.

Working closely with BARC architects and Building Devon, Treyone helped ensure a smooth transition from design to reality with an exceptional level of finish. Working within the smallest of tolerances, we had to communicate with each other on a regular basis to help deliver a home that exceeded our client’s expectations.
