Downderry Contemporary

This contemporary kitchen, designed for a traditional seaside house in Cornwall, incorporates an eclectic mix of materials and cabinetry.

The kitchen’s footprint remained the same as the original, but we incorporated a wide range of clever storage to keep clutter to a minimum whilst creating a lot of worktop space.

We designed an additional sideboard for drinks, CDs and books, which followed a retro theme. The entire unit was white apart from the vibrant yellow doors, which make a statement in the room. We channelled grooves into the top of this sideboard to hide cables from speakers and lamps plugged into the sockets above.
