Our client was building a forever home for their growing family and came to us for a simple, functional, traditional kitchen for their open-plan living area.
We used timeless in-frame shaker cabinets with legs and mirrored plinths to emulate free-standing furniture while enabling us to have appliances within the central island. A large Everhot range cooker takes centre stage within the design, and a simple box-style canopy above marks its presence without dominating.
Soft pastel tones of pale green and off-white enhance the abundant natural light within the space and reflect the surrounding countryside views.
A solid oak island worktop added warmth to the scheme and was tinted to match the tone and colour of the new oak flooring. Combining cup handles, knobs, and cupboard latches creates interest and links to the Pewter finish Perrin & Rowe taps.
We continued the look and feel of the kitchen into the utility room, where shaker units hide functional appliances.
