Our Craftsmen
Josh Bartley
In 2011, Josh was an apprentice cabinet maker for Treyone, where he honed his craft for five years. He then worked for a specialist Acrylics company before joining Princess Yachts, where he tackled everything from teak flooring to cabinet making for cabins. Josh returned to Treyone in 2019 as a finisher but is now our Workshop Supervisor, ensuring projects run smoothly and on time. He’s naturally calm and level-headed, which suits this role when critical deadlines must be met.
Steve Evans
Steve came to Treyone in 2000 and trained as a spray painter. With a wealth of experience in all the technicalities of paint and clear lacquer finishes, he works with Joe Webb to prepare and finish our cabinets, doors, mouldings and shelving.
Richard Field
Richard makes up one of three father/son combos at Treyone. He came to the company in 2014 with practical and technical skills, quickly proving himself invaluable within the cabinet making team.
Simon ‘Spike’ Graves
Starting at Treyone in 2005, Simon joined us as a relatively inexperienced newcomer to the industry. Keen to learn the various trades, Simon is now a versatile all-rounder who, having worked for several years with sheet materials in our cabinet-making workshop, has now made his mark in timber machining and assembly.
Joe Webb
Joe’s first role was as a machinist working for the prestigious Hawker Joinery in Bath. After this, he ran a joinery business in Cornwall, producing everything from bespoke staircases to windows and doors. He joined the Treyone team in 2022 as a Sprayer. This role is all about creating beautiful finishes and attention to detail – something he is passionate about. When not working at Treyone, Joe loves learning and has just completed an Astronomy and Planetary Science degree and plans to do a Masters in Finance.
Aran Pridham
Originally from Reading, Aran moved to Cornwall with his family when he was 11. After completing his Level 3 Site Carpentry qualification at college, he joined Treyone in 2012 as an apprentice Machinist. He works on various aspects of a kitchen, creating items like drawer boxes, doors and cornices. In his spare time, he explores the Cornish off-road trails on his bicycle.
Steve Perry
Steve joined Treyone in 2015. An experienced kitchen maker with all-around knowledge of the processes of turning sheet materials and hardwoods into kitchen cupboards, he is also our relief sprayer.
Aaron England
Aaron started his career in catering and was then a Buying Assistant for Trago Mills. He soon realised that a desk job wasn’t for him. Aaron loves making and building things and using his hands, so applied for a position at Treyone. “Every day is different, and I love the variety of work and being shown how to make things by the other cabinet makers and machinists,” he says. Outside work, he enjoys cooking and keeping busy with other practical and hands-on projects.
